Product Research & Sourcing
Deciding what to sell before you commit to inventory.
Every product decision here is made on incomplete data, and the tools mostly sell certainty they do not have. Sales estimates on a marketplace are modelled, not measured — they are useful for cutting a list of two hundred candidates down to ten, and close to useless for forecasting revenue on one. The honest use is elimination: does this niche have enough demand to bother, is the price band collapsing, is one seller holding the buy box permanently. Treat any single number as a hypothesis to check against the actual listing page, and read the sourcing data before the sourcing decision, not after.
