Submit a tool
Send us a tool. We will use it, review it honestly, and tell readers where it falls short. Free to submit, and the answer might be no.
Everything here is free unless you choose otherwise, and there is no way to buy a better verdict. The only thing that decides whether a tool gets listed is whether it is worth a reader's time — and the answer is sometimes no, which is the point.
What gets listed
- It does one job clearly. A tool that does everything for everyone is hard to review and impossible to search for.
- You can use it today. Waitlists and "coming soon" pages are not listed.
- It is not already covered. Check the category pages first. A filled slot is the most common reason for a no.
- The price is knowable. A free tier, a trial, or a published number. "Contact sales" and nothing else is a reason to skip a listing, not a reason to book a call.
- We can actually get in. If the product needs a demo before anyone can log in, we probably cannot review it honestly.
What we need from you
Five fields. The last two decide it. The rest is admin.
What happens next
- We reply within two business days. Yes, no, or one question. A no comes with the reason, because "we are not accepting submissions right now" wastes your time and ours.
- If it is a yes, we use the tool. Properly, for long enough to have an opinion — usually a week or two, depending on the queue.
- We send you the "where it falls short" section before publishing. To check facts, not to negotiate. If a limitation is real, it ships.
- It goes live. You get the URL. Nobody is asked to link back and there is no badge to display.
Standard review takes five to ten business days from the point we start using it. The queue is short because the site is new, but it is a queue.
If you need it sooner
Same review, same standards, moved to the front. A critical review is still a possible outcome — paying moves the clock, not the verdict. The full list of what is and is not for sale is on the advertising page.
What you cannot buy
Rankings, scores, verdicts, the weakness section, or a place in a buying guide. A vendor cannot pay to be called the best, cannot pay to remove a criticism, and cannot pay to be left out of a comparison they lose. If that makes this page less useful to you as a marketer, it is the reason it is useful to readers.
Questions
Does it cost anything to be listed?
No. Listing and review are free. $49 buys a place at the front of the queue and $149 a month buys a labelled placement; neither changes what the review says.
Will you publish something negative about my product?
Probably, in part. Every page here has a section on where the tool falls short, because a directory where nothing is ever wrong is not worth reading. It is one section out of many, and it is the reason the rest of the page is believed.
My product is pre-launch. Can I submit it?
Not yet. Come back when there is something to log into. A listing for a waitlist page is a listing nobody can act on.
Can I write the listing myself?
No. A submitted description is a claim; a review is a check. The whole value of the page is that someone used the product and formed an opinion.
Do you use affiliate links?
Some outbound links carry a commission, and every page that does says so. It has no effect on rankings or verdicts — see how this site makes money.
What if the tool changes and the review is stale?
Email the address on the contact page and it gets re-checked. Corrections are the most useful messages this site receives.
